What a busy year!

And what a year it has been! I’ve been on the road across the country and working hard on a lot of new and exciting projects.

I just returned from San Diego a few weeks ago and had a great time – what a beautiful city! I started off the trip with an appearance on KUSI News – Good Morning San Diego with Susan Lennon. It’s always exciting for me to talk about my work and to share my passion for what I love.

We had a wonderful event at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar where I got to meet a lot of great people. Here I am getting started on a new piece outside of Fleming’s.

The show at Michael J. Wolf Fine Art was a blast! It’s a pleasure to meet new people and other artists. Here I am talking to Steven Leach about “Friends in Town”, one of my lastest releases. He and his wife Beth are collectors and flew out to San Diego all the way from Phoenix to see the show!

I also had the chance to hang out with Paul Karcho from the Wine Bank, which is a speciality wine store right next door to the gallery. You can see the Far Niente wine crates there which include a mini giclee of “Best Case Scenario” with every crate!

Of course, my work is never done! Even on the three and a half hour flight home from San Diego to Atlanta, I manage to get a bit of work done. All it takes is a pad of paper, some water colors and a refill of my water glass to create this piece. Inspiration can hit you no matter where you are, even when I’m not in my studio. Any place, any time, any surface and I can find a way to create.
